Hi all welcome to my blog, hope you are enjoying the hop and will participate in the challenge at Sparkle and Glitter blog .

The hop and faebook party  and hop will start at 9 am USA time and 4 pm UK time, there is a special disount code for Rick's zibbet shop, THE CODE YOU NEED TO ENTER AT CHECKOUT IS Sparkle2017launch  that gives you -25% off across the shoppe
So check out the facebook group here to jpin the party and win prizes and enjoy the hop.

Theme of this hop is use your favorite  Rick St. dennis digi, now that was a bit of a problem because I like them all....

For the ones that really want to know my favorite images check out the coloring book that has them all in it here (there is a real book too at Amazon ).  For Sparkle and Glitter I thought a more cute image would be more appropriate and I decided to go for Debbie singing in the rain . i used her in my handmade journal (see how to make this journal out of envelopes on my you tube channel, link in the side bar).

 Here she is.....

The quote is by Marilyn Monroe and the doodles she stands on and the flower are drawn by me, if you like my doodles in rubber stamps check out Sin City stamps, they have a sheet of rubber stamps designed by me

The digi was coloured using pencils, how the background is made you can see in the video and the sentiment was written using a stencil
see below all links to the rest of the blogs in this hop, please visit them all and find all letters and try to find the word so you can win the prize.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a nice comment.

Skull appreciation day

June 4 th is international skull appreciation day, see info here.

At Smeared Ink this is cellabrated by a blog hop, the coolest ever LOL

The blog roll in below in this post.

I made something i had planned to make for some time now, but I didn;t know where to start and it involved a lot of cutting with a craft knife.  Craft knives and me is not a very safe combination, but project is finished and I still got all my fingers.

I altered a book, the book was new and it had to be aged, i wasn't sure where to begin and Rick was so kind to email me some instructions.

I needed sanding paper, gesso and  acrylic paint colour names were in the email and I could start.

it was fun to do and I like the way it came out, inside the book i carved a hole to put the skull in. The skull ( which is a RSD image BTW, it can be found in the Skull part of Rick's Etsy)image is fussy cutted several times to make it 3 d and has crackle on it. I found a senti on the internet and added some stamps and embellies and voila

and the inside

The skull is a Rick St. Dennis image, get yours here
check our the RSD rubber skull stamps here

Hope you like my book, here is the blog roll

Smeared and Smudged monthly blog hop "Anything Goes"

It't time again for Smeared and  Smudged monthly bloghop, theme is easy "anything goes"

I decided to make a tag and I got Tottingham Court Ghost to play with, I also used a lot of other stamps (mostly clear stamps) to create a background.

Everything is coloured using pencils and to give the tag a vintage feel, i used weathered wood and walnut stain distress ink and used the blending tool to rub the ink over the entire tag, then I spayed some water over the ink.

And I have another new Rick St Dennis MFA image to show you, she is called Moon Godess, and she is  coloured in Greys (no not 50 shades, I used 3 and a light blue lol). When she
was all coloured and attached to the card I added holographic embossing powder on the moon the stars and  on the dress where the sparkle and glitter was drawn.

Although colouring this lovely lady was fun, I am always a bit intimidated by these gorgeous ladies, always a bit afraid I can't colour these ladies very well,  and the grey was also challenging, but I like the result a lot,it turned out a lot better than I was hoping for. (I just need lots of practice LOL)
see pics below

Enjoy the rest of the hop, here the blogroll

CRAFT challenge bloghop

Today is Craft chraftchallenge blogaversary hop, theme is of course birthday,  the hop starts here.

There are some great prizes to win along the hop so I think you should go and visit all blogs that are in the hop and collet all the letters you need for the game, that will also get you a prize. The great thing is you will be seeing some awesome projects along the way. All  info is here.

Rick St. Dennis MFA is one of the sponsors on the hop and he drew three awesome special images for it, you can win them in the hop, it's one of the prizes but you can also win them on Rick's blog (Rick made a great card using one of the images too) and on the Sparkle and  Glitter blog, both blogs are also in the hop and there will be some great cards of my teamies there.

I got to play with one of the images and made a very happy (un) birthday card using it. The image is called "a very merry unbirthday"and he is for sale togehter with the other 2 images  here.

some pics now:

Before you go hopping  Rick has some freebies on offer HERE (Paris High Fashion Lady)  and on his Airless Chamber Blog  (Singing Zombie) with a great challenge for you all month on both!!

Thanks for dropping by, Enjoy the Rest the Hop,

I will enter this card in the following challenges

and for the Altered alice challenge chapt 26 see linkie below
we can show of our favorite alice projects, and I have  a lot  of those so it will be difficult to choose. I love all the projects shown below, i really can't choose which one I love the most. They are all special to me in their own way.

first the curious clock
very hard to take pics of, but this  clock got published in craft stamper march 2012, thought that was so very cool. so that's why I picked this one as one of my favs

second one  is this

this was a bit unexpected, it was a sunday morning and I checked my email like i always do , and there was an email from  the  "Boss" with the subject "suprise".
When I opened the email  there was an awesome zombie alice image and the email said this Alice was dedicated to me. Now how cool is that!!!!
so  you know now why this is one of my fav's.

another one is the creepmas Alice
I was working on my creepmas projects and Rick asked me if I wanted a creepmas image, duh!!!! no need to ask that, ofcourse I did. An hour later I had an Alice image with a gift wrapped white bunny. This image turned out to be a colouring lesson from the master himself (see original post here), thanks boss, l learned a lot.

And the coolest part is that Rick sent me the original drawings of this one and the Zombie Alice (and some others as well) as a gift, they are all framed  and on my craft room wall

this next one I had a lot of fun changing a cute image into a creepy one , post is here

then there was a monster chessie

Smeared and Smudged bloghop

It's time for Smeared and Smudged monthly bloghop theme is DIRTY VINTAGE...Use vintage style images...and make it dirty by grunging it up, distressing it, or making it just plain DIRTY!

If my project is dirty enough I don't know, but I did a lot of gunging and distressing so at least I got that part covered LOL

here is my offering for the hop:

The digi images used: Nosferatu by Rick St. Dennis MFA (Nosferatu is available on Ricks's blog) and Open Bust by Smeared Ink. The spiderweb in the background is a rubber stamp by Lost Coast Designs and the blood splatter is a Stampinback rubber stamp. The senti is a Dracula quote.

I used dylussions for the blood and the green on the cardboard, I also used black paint and the images are coloured using distress ink. The spiderwebs are heat embossed using silver embossing powder and I added some skeletal remains  to enter HDH challenge 165.
To make it more vintage there is some black lace and a jute bow and some twine.

Hope you like the result and please go and visit the rest of the hoppers  and leave them some nice comments, see blogroll below
