new challenge at RSD Sparkle and Glitter blog

The new challenge start today at the Sparkle and Glitter blog, as always anything goes but as a extra twist it's use the colors of your countries flag.

So that's Red, White and Blue for me



Deco Art Products used:
Ameicana Acrylics in; Sour Apple, Navy Blue, Moon Yellow, Spa Blue, Purple Wave, Snow White.
Americana Decou Page napkin
Digital image:  Euro Clown with flower by Rick St.dennis




the image used is Euro Clown with flower, and I colored the guy using pencils.

The background is made using Deco Art Americana paint see products in listing above.

I used stencils and an old credit card to get this effect.

Letter beads spelling the word circus
2 wooden bobbin
Rhinestones in Red and Yellow

new RSD challenge


It's time for our February RSD Facebook Challenge!
Theme ~ Hearts and/or Arrows
For this challenge, which must feature a Rick St. Dennis image, we want to see a heart(s) or an arrow(s) or both somewhere on your project, either in the image or in the background...or maybe it's the shape. Have fun with it!
Time Frame ~ February 1 – February 29 at 11:59 pm EST
Facebook Challenge Rules
must use an RSD digi or rubber stamp
full project, not just colouring of image (full project can be anything from a tag, card, atc, to an altered piece, mixed media or art journal page...anything where the project is the showcase for the image which is the focal)
hand coloured and hand crafted (no digital colouring)
no limit to the number of submissions per person
one clear, well-lit photo per entry entered into the February Facebook Challenge album.

RSD progressive challenge part 1 november

New challenge starts again today at the Sparkle and Glitter blog, theme is Anything goes, if you join part 1 you will be provided whti n image to use in part 2 of the challenge that starts in december


I made an Art Journal page using Happy Clown Andy a Rick St.dennis digital image.
Deco Art products used : Acrylic Gesso, Media misters in Primary Magenta. Shimmer misters in Yellow and Turquoise. Traditions Acrylic paint in opaque white and a glass paint marker in black





frst I gessoed the page and when gesso was dry I usde a water mister to wet the page, next I used the media misters to get the ink to mix and run a bit.  You can't see the shimmer in the pics but it is deffo there.
Next used paint to get the circles on (used a mask) and wrote the quote by Charlie Chaplin
