31 days of Halloween day 8 and Smudgy Antics challenge

Another 31 days post but it's also time for the weekly challeng at Smudgy Antics.

I combined them if you don't mind ........

The theme of the new Smudgy Antics challenge is Movie Madness. Get your inspiration from you fav movie, now how easy is that.

I wanted to play with the new skellie set, the skellies I got to play with are dancing skellies and because I'm a bit of a Disney fan I decided to base my project on The Skeleton Dance, an old Silly Symphonies cartoon . (if you click the linkie you get the vid, now if you never seen it it's old 1929, but it's one of my favourites, together with The Old Mill and Fantasia).

 

Now I know Mickey is not in the cartoon but just thought I use the Mickey heads to make a link to Disney. All digis used are Smeared Inks

31 days of halloween day 2

Day 2 of the 31 days of Halloween.

I love October and Halloween and it was so awesome seeing all the great artwork the wicked bloggers made for day 1.

Today I have for you an Art Journal page, using a great digi image of Dilly Beans Digi stamps  , one of the wonderful sponsors of the 31 days of halloween.  I used digi  #165 dunce cap skellies.

most of the stamps in the background are from de Stempelwinkel, and the  Beware sign is a Smeared Ink digi and the awesome skellies are Dilly Beans stamps.

Smudgy antics Challenge Touch me and Junk Funk Challenge and Dragons Dream TIO challenge

this weeks challenge at Smudgy Antics is Touch me (all about textures). Check out the rules and the prize here.

I made a Fat Book page, it's my first one and I loved making it. I used a piece of a cardboard box added a net (this one had oranges in it) put gesso on it and added some paint in different colours.
Then I added a piece of burlap and som wire, stapels and rope, put a little crackle paint here and there and added a digi Shell stamp from Smeared Ink et voila:

The next piece is for the junk Funk Challenge at Smeared Ink Forum, if you enter you will get a free digi just for entering and there are also prizes to be won, check it out here.

I made a card and for this callenge you need to use bottle caps, I used them as the center of the flowers (I like the bats so I did not alter the bottle caps)The digi stamp is from Dilly Beans , they have the most wonderfull digi stamps.

The 3rd piece is a tag for the Dragons Dream tag it on challenge "the Thorn Birds".

I watched the tv series when I was a kid and loved it, also read the book. Here is my tag:

On the tag you can see Megan and Father Ralph, the Rose he kept in his bible and some birds.
