I am also a Cryptkeeper in the Halloween countdown 2013, for the complete list of 192 Cryptkeepers joining the countdown to Halloween, see link here

Friday so Smeared Ink day but also a special offer of two of Rick's witchie images on the Airless Chambers blog

here my AJ page for today using Hedwig and a coloured version of Hannah

The background is another Gelli plate print using Deco Arts americana acrylics (colours: sea breeze, calypso blue, lavender).
The bat is a Smeared Ink digi.
a close look at Hedwig

and Hannah

and my paint project: wooden letters spelling BOO (what else).

Products used:
Deco Arts American acrylics  (spiced pumpkin, sour apple, lavender)

First gessoed the letters, then painted them orange,
when paint was dry I added the weathered wood, let dry and painted the green.
Used matte varnish to protect the crackle . Let the lavender drip from the top of the letters. Finished with a layer of triple thick gloss.

see you tomorrow for day 19

Alice in Wonderland card

I made this card for cards in envy challlenge Polkadots and / or stripes.

I'ts got polkadots, no bulky embellishments and it fits in an envelope for regular first class postage, was a bit of a challenge, but it worked and i like how it turned out.

I used Rick St. Dennis MFA new Alice digi set which are on a special sale for a limited time here, you can see a better pic of all the coloured images here

here is my (un) birthdaycard

to send the card, just close it with the ribbon and it will fit in normal size envelope

I will enter this card in the following chalenges

http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.nl/2013/02/challenge-101.html the polka dot paper is pink, color looks more red in pic, couldn't take a better pic without daylight

Can you stand on your head part 3

I had coloured the cool stand on his head Ches (a Rick St. Dennis digi)  and then had a little experiment with him. Because my "online art teacher" had shown me a very cool idea.

It didn't work out the way it should have.....The idea was very awesome but I just couldn't make it work the right way. .....well at least I tried .....just need al LOT more practice.......LOL.

anyway I now had a failed experimental coloured image that I didn't want to throw away, so made a tag with it and hope you will still like it a little bit......

B.t.w., the senti didn't turn out so well either, didn't have a white pen that was able to write on the tag so I used a glaze pen, which will dry white but has clear ink when you write, so you can't see what you are writing......
