Christmas Cat
For the new challenge at Sparkle and Glitter blog by Rick St.dennis, I made a simple Christmas card using the Christmas cat from the Lil bits of Christmas sheet
The cat was colored using pencils and cut out. Then glued on a piece of green cardstock that has been die cutted. The embossed parts have a little Deco Art Metallic lustre on them and I also added some pearls.
The card base is red cardstock, the die cut is matted using Christmas designer paper.
thanks for visiting hope to see you in the challenge here

So excited to let you know today is the start of the first ever challenge brought to you bij the EDT of Rick St. Dennis MFA. I know we've kept you waiting a bit for this but now it's finally here!!
I'am very proud of being a part of Ricks EDT and to announce you the theme of the challenge theme for the next two weeks ...... drumroll....... it is:
"ANYTHING GOES WITH SPARKLE AND GLITTER"
There are some awesome prizes you can win, there will be winners badges and for our first challenge we are being sponsored by the lovely Teri of Delicious Doodles, who is not only donating the choice of 4 images from her shop as a prize, but gave us an image to play with also. You can read all about rules and prizes at the Rick St. Dennis challenge blog. The EDT has put some wonderful project on the blog to inspire you to join the challenge so please go have a look at there gorgeous creations.
This is what I made:
a tag using the Rick St Dennis Raz L Dazzle image, which is perfect fot the theme
I alway use pencils to colour the images, but wanted to add some extra glitter. I used holographic embossing powder on the green coloured parts of the dress and also on the feathers and jewelry. the sparkly effect is a bit hard to see on the pic so here is a closer look.
Hope you will come and play with us can't wait to see what you will create, see you in the challenge.
