31 days day 13 and some exciting news

Hi all, this is day 13 of  Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween, and today I have something different for you.

Do you know Zentangle?, wel if you don't you should try it is is so much fun, all you need are some black pens and paper. If you google zentangle you can find all kinds of paterns or you create your own. I don't know if I used "official" patterns I just did what I thought would look nice.

What I  did was print the Rick St. Dennis Angry Beasties Image and colour it using pencils, then I took my black pen and started to draw patterns. Because I used the whole printed page the Rick St Dennis copyright is still in the corner, I didn't want to cut the image and glue it on another page so I just made it a part of the drawing.

Now the exciting news

31 days, day 12 Smeared Ink day

day 11 of 31 days

Another day in Smeared and Smudged 31 days, can't believe it's already day 11.

I did a card for you

 

 

The bats are Smeared Inks Digi's from the set a little bit batty and the Witch is a Rick St. Dennis digi,  you have to check out his blog cos Something Wicked is coming , it is a secret so don't tell, but it's gonna be worth paying a visit in the next few days.

 

My other projet is a little notebook, it was a boring black notebook and now it's a cool black notebook LOL

this is also a Rick St. Dennis Digis it is called The Countess

31 days day 10

Welcome to day 10 of Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween, I got another 2 projects for you, first is an altered wine bottle, I liked the shape of the bottle and it just asked to be altered, I used Skull with roses which is a digi by Rick St. Dennis who is sponsoring the 31 days everyday.

 

 

and the other one is a card. I just wanted to show you this so you can see that digi's and rubber do work very well together, at least I think they do. For the card I coloured the digi and fuzzycutted (I did cut of some of the swirls, sorry Rick, but my fuzzycutting is not that good LOL).

The trees and the graveyard are rubber, i used black ink to stamp them and then used a circle punch to cut out a circle to use as a mask to make the moon. The background is made using distress Inks and a make up sponges, just mix the colours you like to create the sky. Then I inked the edges of the digi with black ink and glued it on the moon. Added a bit walnut stain distress over the image so it would fit more in the background and voila.

31 days day 9

Another day in the 31 days, day 9 (almost lost track of time and have to think which day we are posting now LOL). I always hate to do last minute projects but sometimes life gets in the way of 31 days and  you have to do a quick simple card. Luckely I finished colourig the image already so just had to make the card.

I used a Rick St. Dennis digi it's called HEXOLOGY

I wanted to play with the new skellie set, the skellies I got to play with are dancing skellies and because I'm a bit of a Disney fan I decided to base my project on The Skeleton Dance, an old Silly Symphonies cartoon . (if you click the linkie you get the vid, now if you never seen it it's old 1929, but it's one of my favourites, together with The Old Mill and Fantasia).

 

Now I know Mickey is not in the cartoon but just thought I use the Mickey heads to make a link to Disney. All digis used are Smeared Inks

day 7 of 31 days of Halloween

Today I made you some tags, nothing special just simple tags you can use to put on a trick or treat bag, there are 6 different ones and I used the Rick St. Dennis (who happens to be sponsoring every single day of the hop) Aliens digi set
