Learn how ro use these products here at Deco Art Mixed Media Education. The rust technique used in this project has been taught to me by Andy Skinner in a workshop,
This is made out of the chipboard backing of a paperpad, a piece of black cardstock, a MDF frame, wire and a page from a dictionary.
The flowers are made of a page of a dictionary I drew the flowers cut thm out and painted them and glued them on pieces of wire, The vase is a piece of chipboard, cut into a vase form, painted black and white and to finish a layer of Triple Thick Gloss Glaze, The flowers are glued to the back of the vase and the vase is attached to the card using foamtape to get some dimension.
The gears are dies and are cardstock given the AS rust treatment. The background is black cardstock embossed using a Cuttlebug gear embossing folder. Next I used lustres and Media Line products
The base is a piece of chipboard painted to look like old wood using American acrylic in Driftwood and Sweet Mint. next I used the Andy Skinner stampset by Stampendous to get a worn wood effect, the edges of the chipboard base are painted using acrylic media fluid in Raw Umber, to make it look like pieces of paint were chipped of on the edges
the hearts were drawn on chipboard, cut out and used Crackle Paste to get the crackle effect. next painted them Primary Magenta mixed with Paynes Grey
the flowers are base on a MMM project by Tracy Weinzapfel, I sorta copied the background she made but lots smaller, the flowers and background inside the frame are about 3 inch high
here some details on the rust
hope you like what I made I had fun making it :-)
