Media Modeling paste, Dazzling Metallics in Amethyst and stencils by Andy Skinner: Incognito, Burning rubber, and the Americana stencil: Dangles.
I used a pre gesso ed canvas and added the modeling paste without adding an extra layer of gesso, I guess that is what makes the structure of the canvas show a lot more than usual LOL.
I made a mask to create the wavey lines and cover parts of the canvas while applying the modeling paste through the different stencils. You need to let it dry befor you can move on to the next part of th canvas, so tis took a bit of time.
When all stencilling was done and the modeling paste had dried I started using the misters, again using the masks to create the dfferent parts. So that means letting the mister paint on the canvas dry before moving to next part.
After all colour was on and dry I used contrasting metallic lustre colours to get out the texture better.
Next I used the dazzling metalic paint to make a line between the different sections on the canvas, to give it some more depth.
