I decided to make a tag and I got Tottingham Court Ghost to play with, I also used a lot of other stamps (mostly clear stamps) to create a background.
Everything is coloured using pencils and to give the tag a vintage feel, i used weathered wood and walnut stain distress ink and used the blending tool to rub the ink over the entire tag, then I spayed some water over the ink.
And I have another new Rick St Dennis MFA image to show you, she is called Moon Godess, and she is coloured in Greys (no not 50 shades, I used 3 and a light blue lol). When she
was all coloured and attached to the card I added holographic embossing powder on the moon the stars and on the dress where the sparkle and glitter was drawn.Although colouring this lovely lady was fun, I am always a bit intimidated by these gorgeous ladies, always a bit afraid I can't colour these ladies very well, and the grey was also challenging, but I like the result a lot,it turned out a lot better than I was hoping for. (I just need lots of practice LOL)

I am blown away at your coloring of the Moon Goddess! I love moons and anything to do w/ moons! I left a comment on Rick's blog telling him that I named my baby chicken Moon Goddess LOL! Yes, mom and I just acquired some chickens LOL! You do great stuff girly!

ReplyDeleteI adore the stamped background you have created on the tag.... beautiful. Your colouring of both these RSD images is simply stunning Monique. Two lovely creations.

Monique your work is always stunning. Great job with the RSD digis. I only have bought the ones that are easy to color. Rick's stamps have so much great detail they are intimidating to color. Both of your projects are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous work I especially love the dress on your second project.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sparkly card, I have to say I really love that tag though, such a gorgeous piece of work! xx
ReplyDelete2 amazing creations, Mo! I am such a fan of your fantastically detailed tags and this one is no exception! Your moon goddess is absolutely gorgeous!
