Challenge # 3 at Smeared and Smudged forum, rules are here

The theme was chosen by the winners of last challenge, Smeared Ink team, (big congrats to you, you did a great job).

We were to make a mini book:  Your project must be some sort of mini book. Whether it is a small accordion book , an ATC book, a domino book, a match book, a twinchie or inchie book, a tab book, etc... is up to you, but you must include at least 5 pages and your book must be smaller than 4". Use any techniques you'd like within your book.

I was planning on making an ATC book, but as always my project never comes out as it was planned. LOL,  I changed plan a million times along the way but this was what I ended up with (first plan was to go for an old vintage grunchy look, but that failed big time lol).

The book is 4 x 4 inches and inside are ATC's using Rick St. Dennis digi's Alien and Creature images (they are no longer available in Rick's etsy, sorry), I also used Smeared Ink's Grumpies and the sentiments that come with the Grumpies.

I made the book from scratch, used some designer papers that I didn't like and cut that to 8 x 4 inches, folded them in half and glued the patterned side of the paper to each other, that way i got a  4 x 4 inch blanc paged book .

The pages have backgrounds made of  Dylussions and Distress Stains (first time I played with both, and have to get used to the dylussions sprays a bit) and also used paint.

The background of the ATC's are mostly Lost Coast Designs stamps, and I framed the ATC's with some glitter glue.

The covers of the book are made of a cardboard box, I removed some of the top layer and painted them.

boekje Venice

We waren in Venetie in mei 2010 en ik had dit boekje al een tijdje klaar maar had het hier nog niet geplaatst

Het blijft lastig om foto's te maken met kunstlicht, excuus voor de spiegeling.

halloween in disney oktober 2009

Hieronder een boekje gemaakt voor de foto's van ons laatste Disney bezoekje in oktober 2009. We waren daar voor de 9e keer, en deze keer voor het eerst in Hotel New York. We hadden een erg leuke kamer met zicht op Lake Disney en omdat de kamer op de begane grond was ook nog een soort van tuintje.

Het boekje is gemaakt van dun karton bekleedt met halloweenpapier. Het idee had ik gezien op internet, zie link onderaan.

De envelopjes, toverketel,toverspreukenboek en doodskist zijn gemaakt met de cricut, net als de spin,het spinneweb, de vleermuis en het hekje op de voorkant.

De vorm van het boekje is ook van de cricut (wild card, de huizenkaart)maar dan uitgesneden van dun karton.

De pootjes en het kopje die af en toe in beeld zijn, is Snowy 1 van onze 3 poezen die het zeer interessant vond en de lintjes en de plastic spin probeerde te pikken ;_)

boekjes engeltjes en vlinders

Een mini boekje gemaakt van chipboard, er zitten nog geen foto's in want ik weet nog niet of ik het misschien cadeau geef aan iemand.

Op de laatst blz wat geëxperimenteerd met zelfgemaakt "glimmermist", ik weet niet of het te zien is op de foto.
