bloody valentine day 3 and winner

sorry a bit late , but my PC decided to give me a hard time........

The winner of the stamp give aveay will be below, just as the blog roll, project first LOL

For today I made an art journal page in my small leather bound journal, it's about atc size, a little bit bigger.

I used a stamp frop the haunted places set designed by Rick St.dennis, you can find them in the Smeared Ink shop


the border stamp is a clear stamp by my paper world, the blood splatter is also a clear stamp I think by Joy designs. The background colours are distress ink and the heartbeat chart is drawn by me (no it was not that though using a ruler, lol). So here it is, small and simple but I like how it came out

and now the drawing of the lucky stamp winner (remember day 1). I could not decide myself so wrote the names of the people that said they wanted to have the stamp on pieces of paper, crumpled them and put them in a box. Shook the box, opened the lid and let Diva our baby cat decide , here a video to show you the result (not Oscar material, but hey I am a newbie in the world of video)

bloody valentine day one

Anyways here is my project for today, a card, using good old rubber stamps from Smeared Ink (haunted places and morte set by Rick St.dennis, and lots of Stempelwinkel stamps)


No blood, but I tried to create a spooky scene, the heart with rose is very Valentine I think, and the bottle next to the skin is probably a love potion......

I will enter this card in the Winter challenge at de Stempelwinkel challenge blog

Jetske from the Stempelwinkel had send me a stamp as a present for entering the first challenge. It was the lady next to the well, but because I have the plate Grave Tidings, I allready had this stamp.
When Jetske heard, she send me a new stamp and she told me to give this one to a real stamp lover

bloody valentine

Hi all, this is my piece for the bloody valentine hop on the Airless Chambers blog, I made an Art Journal page using a Rick St. Dennis digi called  Vampyr Masquerade 2. I coloured the vampire using Derwent colour soft pencils. The background is a gelli print.
To make the gelli print I used DecoArt Americana Acrylics (Tomato Red, Winter Blue, Ocean Blue, Purple Pizzazz, Lemon Yellow) The letters are made using my Cricut to cut out a Vampire font. I traced the letters and painted them using Americana Acrylics Cherry Red (thought that was the best colour to look like blood lol), also used that for the little blood dripping from the Vampyrs mouth

bloody valentine day 2 and mermaid card

This is day 2 for the bloody Valentine hop by Smeared Ink (blog roll at the end of this post), I made another tag using a Rick St. Dennis Zombie be mine digi, the brains in the back ground is a rubber stamp from de stempelwinkel.

now isn't he cute......

 

 

and I finished the mermaid card, using Sirena

 

it's a simple card, just added some pearls and layered the image. I added glitter to the mermaid's tail, but

 you can't see it very well, on the pic below it shows better.

Bloody Valentine day 3

This is the last day allready, time flies when you have fun....

Welcome to day 3 of the Bloody Valentine hop organized by Smeared Ink

I got 3 thingies for this last day, and these are on their way to my SSV, hope she likes....


Again not bloody (somehow bloody doesn't work for me these past days, so sorry for that)

I made a cute little canvas, I put a thick layer gesso on it and made it sort of crackle, let it dry and then painted and as a finishing touch added some gold paint. Then I made the stamp on it and coverd it with clear embossing powder.

Because I liked the image of the stamp so much I decided to use this for another project, I've been altering domino's and I wondered if this would also work on Scrabble tiles, and it did....

and then I made this necklace

The other side of the tile has an initial on it so I can't show it. The box was inspired by Black Dragon's awesome bracelet boxes ( although this one is a lot smaller)

Here's my day 2, it's a domino book

The front and the back cover have Smeared Inks "As Death" digi stamps on it. for the inside of the book I used Tim Holtz Valentines Stamps and Stamps from "de stempelwinkel"


This will be one of the goodies for the SSBV swap.

Bloody Valentine bloghop day 1

Welcome to the Smeared and Smudged Bloody Valentine Bloghop

Here is my day one project, sorry not so bloody but more a vintage thing.

I made a mini album, there can be little pics put inside the album, the embellishments are attached in a way that you can put the pics underneath them.

The front cover has a TH Valentine stamp, inside the book are vintage Valentine images and lace.

The album has 4 pockets and these tags are inside

This album is one of the projects that will be in the SSBV swap, hope my swap partner likes it.

And this card has Cornelius on it, he was designed by Smeared Inks Terra's daughter, she is only 12 :-)
