Uitdaging Scrapfever ? Challenge Scrapfever

Ik doe mee aan de uitdaging bij Scrapfever de uitdaging is:

“SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE”.

Iets blauws: lijkt me duidelijk.....

I made this layout for the challenge at Scrapfever

“SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE”.

My something old : the design paper
Something new: the flower, the pins and the charm dogbone
Something borrowed : Baileys, he's the dog of my neighbours sister.
Something blue: thats obvious....

New Halloween hop and release from Smeared Ink

Smeared Ink is releasing some more Halloween images! To celebrate, of course we have to have a new release blog hop!

this is my project:

It's a doorhanger, I used the bat stamp from the seared ink set A little bit batty and the digi stamp BEWARE from the new release Halloween set Build a Graveyard

I used a piece of cardboard and painted it blue and then put gesso over the blue paint. Glued a piece of aluminum foil on cardstock and embossed it. Used some black acrylic paint to give it a more metal look. Cut the digis out en coloured them, for the bat I used distress ink and for the Beware digi I used letraset aquamarkers. Put some rope on both ends and attached a chain to hang it.

I hope you've enjoyed taking a look at my project. Below is the blog roll for all of the participants this hop, so please hop through from blog to blog and leave them some comments about their work- we all love to hear what you think! Thanks for stopping by

Weekly Challenge at Smudgy Antics blog- Paint

Weekly Challenge at Smudgy Antics blog- Paint

PAINT

One of our favorite mediums! Splosh it, drip it, spread it around, or water it down...just use it and you're good to

If you want to play check the rules here

Here are my projects:

I used the Creepers Smeared Ink digi set I got stuck with this challenge so I made a card using the cuttlebug embosing folder and put some purple paint on it. Then I used my cricut to cut the apple. I wrote the sentiment on the apple.

But then I started to think about using the paint challenge to make little paintings. I printed the creepers (love them) on ATC size, used watercolor (just a cheap set that kids, use nothing special) and my waterpen to make these little paintings. I glued them to cardboard so the are a bit sturdier and put them on little easels.

Hope you join the http://smudgyantics.blogspot.com/2011/09/weekly-challenge-paint.html.

Pieces and Parts bloghop at Smeared and Smudged Blog

Pieces and Parts bloghop at Smeared and Smudged Blog The theme this month is Pieces and Parts. Use at least two stamp or digi images combined to make a "new" image or focal point on your project. So, you can combine the top half of one stamp with the bottom of another, or add a part of one to another, or even build a background from several images, it's up to you! Use your imagination and have fun with it. We can't wait to see what you come up with! Also, don't forget the S&S rule that is has to be stamped somewhere (digi stamps are fine), which we're sure you won't miss with this month's theme. Here is my entry:
I used the Smeared Ink Digi Dead Dancer Falling. ,My Paperworld Viva Decor Clearstamp (the roses) and All Night Media rubber stamp 550j74 (the music notes). I printed the digi twice, once on cardstock and once on normal paper to use as a mask. I made an Oval using a colluzle plate( you will need both pieces the oval and the piece that you cut the oval from). I masked the digi and the part of the card where the music notes will be(using the outlining of the oval colluzzle cut ) and stamped the roses with the clear stamps. Leave the masks on the card and use Tim Holtz distress inks (peeled paint, dusty concord and tumbled glass) and color the roses. Then remove the masks and put the inside oval over the part with the roses and the digi. Then stamp the music notes with black stazon and remove the mask.

I hope you've enjoyed taking a look at my project. Below is the blog roll for all of the participants this month, so please hop through from blog to blog and leave them some comments about their work- we all love to hear what you think! Thanks for stopping by.
