Smudgy Antics challenge: Drop-dead gorgeous

Drop Dead Gorgeous is this weeks challenge at Smudgy Antics.

This is the card I made:

The Smeared Ink digis I used are: Smitten powder my nose ( I cut the gentleman of the image) and boney bunny head but cut of his ears so it would look like he's got devlish horns.

I framed the boney head in a little picture frame and I printed the smitten lady on pink designers paper. When the gorgeous smitten lady is dressed up for her date and she sees that the one she's going out with is the Boney bunney head, she will drop dead (LOL)

Hi all.

I'm proud to let you know I became a member of the Dragons Dream Tag It On DT. You know how I love to make tags and now I'm in the company of some great artists.

This is mine;

I used a lot of different stamps, clear and rubber, the Key and lock was a gift from Trisha (thanks Trisha love it) and the wall with the gate to the garden is actually the Cemetry entrance, you'd never guessed that huh? Nothing creepy about this tag.

I picked Skull, Black, Distressed:

The Skull is in the Smeared Ink plaque digi, the black in the lace the domino and I distressed the card and the edges with black ink. The Bingo card had black in it too.

So time to share my phobia;

I used von Bayros Creepy sleeper digi and this image shows my phobia.

I think there is nothing scarier than someone/something sneaking up on you when you're a sleep. Well there is one thing that comes close and that is sleep paralysis (old hag). What happens is that you wake up and you find out that you are unable to move. You know you are awake and you can open your eyes,but you are unable to speak or move,and to make things worse you can see a man dressed in black who is standing next to your bed, watching you....

Hitchcock tag for Haunted Design house Challenge

I only know 2 Hitchcock movies; "the Birds" and "Psycho" since there where a lot of the birds project by the DT (they are really awesome you have to check them out here ), I did a Psycho project.

Smudgy Antics challenge Anything goes

This weeks challenge at Smudy Antics is Anything Goes, so that is easy no excuses for not entering this one :-) check the rules here.

My project got a bit out of hand, I turned out a bit bigger and a lot more work than I thought it would be.

I needed some storage for my inks and decided to make it myself. I used some chipboard and metal tape. It took a lot of measuring and cutting through chipboard but I like how it turned out.

I got a lot of pics to share, because this project is not easy to show on just one pic, I will show you pics from all sides and some deails of the Smeared Ink digis used:

Smudgy Antics, alter an Egg and Paper Creations Ink Challenge

OK this weeks Smudgy Antics challenge"Alter an Egg" is not an easy one, and because of that, you can either alter an egg or use an eggshape or egg in your piece.

Altering an egg is nearly impossible to do, it won't stay put,it's almost impossible to stamp on an egg and If you use a plastic one like I did, DON'T USE YOUR HEATGUN on it because the egg will MELT

So I tried and tried and finally came up with something acceptable.

I gessoed it and painted it orange, drew a spiderwebb on it and glued some Smeared Ink Bat digi's on it. I used the heat gun to dry the paint and the egg got all kinds of bumps so not goood.......


I don't give up that easy and her is egg 2

again not the result I hoped for, what I did was drew a hole and cracks on the egg using a permanent marker, then cut the eyes of a Grumpie digi and glued it in the hole. It is supposed to look like the Grumpie is hatching from the egg.


And tadaaaa the 3rd egg, again not the most brilliant piece I've ever made

I glued little pieces of designer paper to the egg, to give it an old, distressed look. Then cut the lady out of the Smitten digi
coloured her and glued her on the egg (sounds a lot easier then it was. Then I put crackle medium over the egg and added some distress. The finishing touch are the silk roses.
