31 days of Halloween day 11 and Dia de Los Muertos video collaboration hop

Today is a bit complicated, I have 2 projects for 2 different hops, to make things worse the events don't start at the same time.....

So here a little explanation; the first hop is ofcourse the 31 days of halloween, you found me you are ok, the project is below and the video that goes with is schedualed the same time a this blog post.

her is day 11 of the 31 days of Halloween, another Rolodex card, don't stop reading tho, check my other project further down this post it will be worth it.

My second project is for the  Dia de Los Muertos video collaboration hop, oganized by Ayala Art, you can find her on facebook.

This is a video hop all about the day of the dead and all kinds of art are allowed as long as it has a Dia de los Muertos theme.  You can see the pictures of my project, a book shrine, below.  There is ofcourse a video to go with it, but that goes live 9 AM pacific time. So if it is not available yet when you read this please come back when it is :-)

My 10th card for my Rolodex is a witchie one, Stamps are from Blank Page Muse , they have great quality red rubber stamps and also a lot in Halloween theme :-)

day 9 in the 31 days of Halloween, another card and video (here)

I used a stamp set called Monsterous by Tim Holtz/ Stampers Anonymous and the back gound stamp is by Joy craft and is called Wallpaper.

The Monster set is really cool, I have used it before in the Rolodex series on the card with the mummy. The images are fun to colour and you know I love coloring....

Tommorow I will also be in a Dia de Los Muertos video hop, so hoping you will watch that as well.

31 days of Halloween day 8

Getting bored allready?...  I hope not cuz I have another Rolodex card for you in Halloween theme.


This is day 8, and I am still keeping up,  Yay me!!


The stamps used : the web is from Craft Emotions, the face I have no idea, I bought it secon hand and no manifacturer was mentioned, so if you know please let me know.

I really love this quirky face with the tomstones on her head. I am not sure if it is meant for Halloween but I guess it will do the job. To me it has a spooky feeling and I tried to emphasize that with the background colors and the spiderweb.

Here you can see the card in my Rolodex, it came from the office I work in and yes they know I took it home , I got permission to do so :-).  I work there for 31 years and this thing was allready there when I started so it is really old...(like me lol).  The original cards are still in there (only the blank ones no addresses or phonenumbers)  and they have real authentical coffee stain and yellowed through age, but for this project I wanted the tab to add the date and a slightly bigger card, so I bought I die (again second hand no packaging, and no idea who made it). It fits perfectly.
