I have been working on a small junk journal this weekend and am now putting it up here for sale.

Below is a vidoe of the making of the journal and at the end of the video there is a flip through that shows the inside and all emphimera and pockets that are in there.

Some art journalling in bright colors

I have been playing in my small Art by Marlene journal, I really love how the paper is holding up to me mistreating it with paints and mediums.

Today I had a play with the beach house stamps designed by Marlene van Niekerk, they are happy little house, a bit wonky and quirky and that makes them so  much fun to use.


I combined them on one page with a Gorjuss stamp from Santoro, the 2 pages are not a spreas persé but sinds the colors match I decided to keep the house all lined up.

Change

I have decided to make some changes to the content of this blog.

For the ones that have been following me, you probably know I like "Dark "Art but also have a lot of "Pretty" art. To make it easier for people to just follow the part of my art they like I have split up the blog and have added a new one specially dedicated to the Dark art.

That blog is called "Monique's Pretty Dark Art"and you can follow the link to get there.

This blog will feature all other art from now on, I changed the name to Monique's Art and restyled the way it looks.

I am not going to move my "old dark" posts from this blog to the new one, so if you want to look at the older dark art posts you can still find them here.
