Yay day 31 of the 31 days of Halloween  I made it whooohooo

This is the back cover of my junk journal, I used black cardstock and an embossingfolder.

I gave the page a metal look by using Metallic Lustres by Deco Art, I used Iced espresso,  Black shimmer, Gold Rush and Radiant Red and Cosmic Blue

 The text is a rubber stamp by the Stempelwinkel.

And this is the front of the book with some charms to embellish it

31 days of Halloween ; day 30

 The paper was already black and white so I decided to keep it that way and have an all black and white page :-)

The frame is a stamp by Viva Decor and I used black embossing powder on it, I like the effect that it looks a bit raised like a real frame.

All other stamps used are from de Stempelwinkel, I did not bother to mask when stamping the crow in the frame because I liked the branches sticking out of the frame.

I used black sooth distress ink for all edges and rubbed a bit over the page aswell using a bleding tool.

Welcome to day 29 of the 31 days of Halloween, blog roll in the side bar

Today some more page from the junk journal.

In todays junk were some left over pieces of plastic sheets and a bit of black sticky paper ribbon a small tag and some black cardstock and a piece of a rub on

   I used the sheet to make a pocket and decorated it with the black paper ribbon, The skelleton is a die cut by Sheena Douglas. I just die cutted it and put it in the pocket. Assembled the skeleton is too big for the book, so thought to make a build your own skellie friend kit,  Just some glue needed and your skellie friend is ready to paly

  the tag has some distress in on it in purple and black, added the rub on and stamped the word caution.

31 days of Halloween ; day 28

Hi  day 28 of the 31 days of Halloween is here, almost done only a few days left.

Today another page from the junk journal, this eas a piece af scrap oaer with a grey woodprint on it, The skull stamps and spider web are by Lost Coast designs , the Dia de los muertos words are by Sheen Douglas.

First I stamped the skulls and the words using black ink, mext I masked all stamps and usde the spiderweb samp for the back ground. left the masks  and next I used black distress ink to make the back ground a bit darker so the skulls and wordt would sta out more, To finish I inked the edges

31 days of Halloween ; day 27

Hi again  day 27 of the 31 days of Halloween. 

Another page in my junk journal 

The background is a piece of scrapbook paper, it's black with a white house print on it, not very Halloweenie but I think it works in combination with the Haunted house rubberstamp(designed by Rick St.dennis and available at I Brake For stamps). The moon is from Stampingback. Both stamps were stamped using Archrival Jet black ink on white cardstock. The Haunted house is coloured using Derwent Inktense pencils and the moon is coloured using distress ink in Mustard seed and Spicy Marmelade. I used a circle punch to cut out the moon and cut out the haunted house.

First glued the moon on the page and next the hounted house so it overlaps the moon a bit.
The Spiderweb and the crosses are left overs from die cuts (spider web is Memory Box and the crosses Tim Holtz alterations by Sizzix)
The crosses are painted black using Americana acrylic paint by Deco Art in Lamp Black.   De spiderweb is painted with Glamour Dust (also Deco Art) in Black Ice

 This is a die cutted piece of cardboard, one side is painted in Glamour dust Black Ice , The other side is Purple pizzazz and has some stamped images on it.

It's just a little fun page in the book and I thought it is perfect next to the haunted house and the skellie embossing on yesterdays page, here is what it looks like in the book

Hi, I am bck again with day 26 of the 31 days of Halloween, today's junk journal page folds out into 2 other pages

I used black cardstock and the Tim Holtz  embossing folder and I used Deco Art Metallic lustres to give the raised areas of the embossing some shine, colours usde : White frost on the skellie and the web,  Orange flicker on the 31,  Black Shimmer on the cat, crow and bats, and in the background ther is some Iced Espresso

 the page opens up to a double page with on one side a handmade notebook for all your porion recipes, the stamp on the cover is has black embossing powden on part f it, the book closes with a rope and on the other page is a bit of decoration made out of an old picture from the internet, the whitch hats are cricut die cuts and an old bingo card, all inked and glued together to this\.

31 days of Halloween ; day 25

Hello all  day 25 of the 31 days of halloween is here, and today I have a quick simple page for you.

Yep still the junk journal

The paper used is a piece of left over scrappaper it has an advertisments print on it and the note :-)

So I though this would make a page with a ready to go journalling spot, all it needed was some inking with distress ink (orange and black) and some stencling (stencil made from the sizzix alterations die) . The stamps are Tim Holtz and the spidey is a memory box die with  Glamour dust glitter paint in Black ice on it (Deco Art). The ribbon has to do with tomorrows page , will show you on day 26, see ya then

day 24 of the 31 days of Halloween, time flies eh?

todys junk was transformet to a page with a coffin shaped journal spot, page and pocket are scrappaper left overs , I used the Rick St,dennis Morte rubber stamp set to decorate the page  and the Journal spot, The coffin shape was drawn and cut out a piece of kraft paper, it fold open so you can write your last wishes inside and close it up again for some privacy lol.

The swirl die has a coat of Deco Art Glamour dust glitter paint  ice Black on it, Just because it's Halloween it doens;t mean it can't sparkle lol

31 days of Halloween ; day 23

Welcome to day 23 of the 31 days of Halloween,  a few junk journal pages for you;

 This papr was green and not very Halloween, I stamped the gothic window with the monk the bricks and the spiderwebs (Indigo Blue) Then made a die cut shaped like a gothic window, added a plastic sheet behind the window and added some Deco Art Glamourdust, Black Ice glitter paint on the black cardstock.

 I left the upside of the window die open so there can be a tag in there, The tag has a skull stamp on it from the Rick St.dennis Morte set (I have the rubber stamps but now some image of the set are only available as digi on Etsy)

 When you remove the tag a little spidey shows up , on the back of the tag is a journalling spot

 this is a die by Tim Holtz, in the little enveloppe are all calendar pages, October was one of the first pages of the jounal because it is a halloween themed journal, but you can use it all year long by changing the month. The back of all calendar pages are stamped with a skull

In my stash I found a vintage postcard image of a cute witchie in a pumpkin I matted it to yellow cardstock only showing very little of the yellow. And used a die cut to decorate it. Die cut is black cardstock with Deco Art Glamour dust glitter paint in Black ice

day 22 of the 31 days of Halloween (are we there yet??)

a simple page today

I like the prin to the paper the black and white , the black is somekind of velvet like stuff, very cool.

The witch is a Tim Holtz Alterations die by Sizzix.

The coffin journalling spots are hand cut and have the word spells stamped on one of them, the paper I cut them out is white with black stripes so perfect to make a journalling spot of.  The back has a vintage walpaper like print on it in black and white

I made a pocket of the left over from the piece of paper he with came from and the fence is a Martha Stewart border punch.

31 days of Halloween ; welcoem to day 21

this page of my junkjournal has a print on it of a crow (it;s amazing what you find if you go shop in your own stash that has been in a drawer for years lol

It was to big for the page so I cut a piece of and made a pocket of it to fit a little tag in

 I decorate the page with tiny left over strips of the coffin journalling spots I made and I thougt it would go perfectly with the kraft card tag.

 the tag is stamped on both sides , crows ofcourse, stamps by de Stempelwinkel

 I also found a small paperbag, I had a number stamped on it, it was used in a swap long ago and I was sent 10 of those paper bags in several sizes numbered 1 to 10 :-)

  I just left the number on and stamped around it

 inside is another tag, with on one side an image of an angel (that came in this paperbag originally)

the other side of the text is for a to do list, and on the bag a little skellie

The web is a diecut and the arrow came from some Halloween diecuts from long time ago

Day 16

The skellie with tophat is from the same paperpad cover as yesterdays page.

The fence is a die and the welcome sign is a piece if cardstick with alphabet stamps.

The background is just white cardstock and I used a black inkpad to make it look spooky.

The church and skulls are rubberstamps designed by Rick St.dennis.  The ghostchurch is available as digi only now in Rick's etsy.  

It's a simple page but I think it's effective :-)

31 days of Halloween ; day 15

Day 15.  Some more junk journal.


These pages are made out of a cover of a Halloween paper pad. And I judt didn't like the thought of the images on tgere going to waste.  The cover was ver thun glossy paper but I used some of the images to glue them on a piece of cardstock. Embellished with the 31 number die cut and anotger page is done

Next is an old postcard. I did not like the image side but I did like the back wuth the old print in an old fashioned font. The text is Dutch and is says Postcard and gives instructions where to write and where tio put the stamp.  The witch stamps are clear stamps by Inkadinkado and the happy Halloween pices is from my paperpad cover again. I like the vintage look with the touch of color in the senti :-)
