survival in parc d'aventura

The kids did a survival in Parc d'Aventura in the dark, they started at 22.00 hour. They got a special equipement and a headlight and a briefing and off they went up in the trees.

dali museum

We've been to the Dali museum in Figueres, we had to wait 20 minutes to get in the museum, and that was not so bad, when we got out of the museum the waiting time was over an hour. We also visited the Dali Jewels.,

you can take pictues in the museum, but you are not allowed to use flash, so that explains some pictures are a bit dark, (sorry). I wish I could have taken more photo's of the paintings but that was to dark.

Cards for Ryan

I got this link from the Smeared Ink forums, cards for Ryan Ryan, was involved in an accident on a Saturday afternoon in April 2011 in New Orleans, while riding his bike to meet up with friends. The facts of the accident remain unclear but Ryan did sustain a brain injury. As a side note - Ryan moved from CA to NOLA after Katrina to live there and help/work with the relief efforts to help the citizens of NOLA rebuild.

So we are asked to send cards, see link for details.

Here another project for Dead Divas Challenge at Smudgy Antics

I used a canvas that I covered with music paper "Die Zauberflute by Mozart)
Used the dress form, winged hearts and birds cage Alterations dies to make the body and wings, Dress is a piece of ribbon and the head a digi stamp from Smeared Ink (set " a little bit batty. The frame was made using cricut machine and Happy Hauting cartridge. Added stickles to the skulls eyes. Teh background music paper was inked with distress inks tumbled glas and peeled paint.

This is my first blog hop, so I'm very excited...

Theme is PAINT.
Just finished my project yesterday because I didn't know what to make. I decided to use an canvas and just see what would happen LOL.
And here it is....

I painted the back of the canvas with Gesso, and put the bat digi (from smeard ink, a little bit batty digi set)in the Gesso and let it dry a bit.
Than I used liquid watercolor paint and got splasy and gooey. Used my heatgun to dry the gesso and paint.
For the frame I used a plastic lace sticker that I used as a mask, put black acrylic paint over it and removed the mask.
