Project # 3 for the Stempelwinkel

My project #3 for the Stempelwinkel is an Altered Bottle. I had this bottle for ages, it used to be an oil lamp and it was in my garden for years. Because I've wanted to alter a bottle for ages but never tried it before, I hoped the years the bottle had been in the garden would have given it an old look. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, so I had to find a way to give the bottle a vintage look, and that was not easy.

Here it is, will explain how I did it below the pics.

De stempel is, the stamp I used is:

Big Leonardo's human with text 8? x 12? cm

Artikelcode: CP S573

I painted the glss bottle and because crackle medium didn't work I decided to paint the bottle on the inside. i poored silver spray paint and green/blue kids magit paint in the bottle and turned the bottle till I got the result I wanted.

The stamp was coloured using pencils and then used some Walnut Stain distress ink, cut it out inked the edges with black ink and glued to the bottle.
Then I added a leather lace with beads and coins, and a peacock feather. The bottle didn't have a stopper but I thougt it would much better with a stopper, I used a light bulb to make it. I used alcohol inks (blue, green and copper)to colour the light bulb and used Diamond Glaze for protection.
