This fortnight it's the very talented Silvie's turn to make up a recipe for Dragonns Dream TIO. Silvie chose " Don't Fear"; use a scary image, a crowd of purple and textures, with the only other rules being you need to include at least one stamped image and it all needs to be on a tag!
Sounds easy and it should have been an easy one for me. I don't know if it's the purple I had troubles with, it sure couldn't be the scary image. I love scary, yet I had to throw away 3 tags before I liked the result enough to post it.
The texture was made by wrinkling the cardstock and the add the purple distress ink and smoothed it again with an iron. then I stamped the images (most of them are from de Stempelwinkel only the swirls are not) and coloured the moon and the clouds with watercolour crayons, added some walnut stain distress around the edges and some green waterclour crayon on the bottom of the tag. I hope you like it and join us in this scary but fun challenge.
I will enter this tag in the following challenges:

Tim Holtz tag June 2012
Finally had the chance to make the Timmie June tag, I gave it a bit of a witchie twist.
I like to make the tags my way, and so I changed the pic Tim has on his blog for an old pic borrowed from the internet. On the pic are two little girls wearing dark dresses(I coloured them red with a marker) and they don't look like they enjoyed having their picture taken. To be honest I think those 2 girls are a bit scary, so I changed them into little witches LOL. The little witch broom is home made (a twig from the garden and sisal rope). Underneath the pic is a piece of a Bingo card.
Hope you like my version of the June tag.......
I will enter this tag in the following challenges:

Smudgy Antics challenge 'Pretty Creepy"
This weeks challenge at Smudgy Antics is "Pretty Creepy" now that's easy LOL
We can't wait to see what you come up with using this theme.
Please remember, you do not need to make a card for this challenge.
We also accept and encourage art journal pages, scrapbook pages, mixed-media pieces, sculptures, ATCs, Fat Book pages, jewelry, etc. Just remember to use at least one stamped image (rubber, clear, or digi) and follow the rules you can find here to qualify for the prize or the coveted "Top Three" badge.
For this chalenge I made a canvas.
I used the back of the canvas, for the frame I used a mask and black paint. Made 2 holes on the topof the canvas and put a ribbon through to hang the canvas, then I glued a piece of black & white DP in the frame so you can't see the ribbon.
The Zombie Mona Lisa is a Smeared Ink digi and I coloured her up using pencils.
The gold frame is Cricut Happy Haunting cartridge. The roses were made using a Marianne Design die.
Hope you will join us in the challenge

Smudgy Antics Challenge BAD BABY
This weeks Smudgy Antics challenge is called Bad Baby, check out the rules here
For this project the DT were given one of the Smeared Inks Babies of the damned to work with. Now that was a bit of a challenge because when I think of babies I think cute......
When you look at the Babies of the Damned they look everything but cute ;-)
Now there is one other thing I think of when I think of babies (besides sleepless nights, changing diapers etc.) and that is Anne Geddes (you know the babies in a cute flower/bear/bee/bunny outfit put in a flower pot). If you don't know I added a pic for you below:
My daughter used to collect these Anne Geddes Dolls and she has quite a collection, so I thought I'd make here a very special one......
I have to warn you for the next pic, this is not going to be cute. in fact it may scare you. Don't say I didn't tell you.......
Now isn't he a sweet little devil? He seems quite happy in his little flower pot, especially when I gave him a skullie to play with.
When I bought this dolly it was a cute little baby boy. It's a cheap plastic doll and I didn't now if the paint would stick to the plastic. I put 2 layers of gesso on the doll and then painted him with acrilyc paint. It worked out great although it took some time to dry.
The bat wings are from Cricut Happy Haunting cartridge.
The flower pot was painted red and black using crackle medium. To finish I glued the Baby digi on the pot (colored it up first).
Because this project took some time to dry and I was not sure if it would work, I made a back up project. Just in case....
A cute little baby card, the digi is Demon Baby from Smeared Ink.
I had a lot of fun making these, and I hope you will all join the challenge
I will enter my babies in the following challenges:

Skull appreciation day and Smudgy Antics challenge
Today is Skull Appreciation Day. We will be celebrating Skull Appreciation Day by featuring handmade projects that spotlight the much-loved cranium in a wild blog hop event. There will also be give aways and tons of freebies during the hop! The hop will start at 9am Pacific time.
Today is also the start of a new challenge at Smudgy Antics, the challenge is Anything Goes, you can find all the info here.
If you follow the hop you should have come from Black Dragons awesome blog. If you got lost or want to start at the top, please go to Terra's Blog.
For more information on Skull Appreciation Day, please visit Skull-A-Day.
You can find the sponsor list here.
I combined my project for the Smudgy Antics challenge and Skull Appreciation Day and made a skull shrine:
For the shrine I used a little box.The front and the back of the shrine are made of TH Hanging Sign die.
The skull is a Smeared Ink digi that I printed 5 times, fuzzy cut and layered. To finish the skull I added some Glossy Accents that gave the skull a shiny look. The skull was glued to the back of the shrine. Below the skull are some roses and letter beads. Then I added some bling and metal corners to the front of the shrine.
Hope you will join this weeks Smudgy Antics challenge and enjoy the hop. Next stop is the very talented Helen.
