This week at Dragons Dream TIO it's Sue's turn to provide a recipe and it is
- “To Dye for” -;Make a tag and use spray ink, die cut(s) and embossing (heat or dry) and use at least one real stamp.
My tag was a bit of a disaster to make, I had it all planned but it didn't turn out as it should.
First I made the background for which I used my DIY spray ink (mixed watercolour paint with water in a spraybottle) and so far it worked out great, I really liked how the background turned out. Then the problems started.
I stamped the Time Traveler using black Stazon and when I removed the stamp from the tag some of the spray ink flaked off the tag and the stamped image was not clear. That was the first problem.....
But I solved this by stamping the image again on vellum, cut the image out and glued it on the tag(over the failed stamped image) then stamped and heat embossed the words Time Traveller.
The tag still needed something extra, so I masked the Time Traveler and stamped the clocks using white Stazon and had the same problem...... the Stazon and my DIY spray ink didn't like each other and when I removed my stamp the spray ink flaked off the tag and the stamped image was not clear. To make the image more visible I used white embossing powder and I liked the result.
Now I only had to add some die cuts and decided to use the TH Gadget Gears and cut them out off metal tape covered cardstock. Because of the mettalic look of the gears I thought the tag had a futuristic feel about it and I thought it would be fun to put some glitter glue around the edges.......you can probably guess what happened......... the glue didn't want to come out of the bottle so I had to squeeze it a bit harder.......then the nozzle came off and half of the glitter glue bursted out of the bottle on to the tag............
Luckely I could remove the most of the glitter from the tag. Instead of ribbon I used wire to finish the tag and attached a light bulb to the wire.
Here it is..... drumroll......
Hope you like and come and join the challenge
I will enter these tag in the following challenges:

the mask of the red death/ hot as hell in here
Because I haven't had the time to play at Quoth the Raven and Haunted Design House for a while, I did want to play this time to save time I cheated a bit and combined the challenges so her is my project for "The Mask of the Red Death" and for HDH 133 "Hot as Hell in here"
Tadaa here it is a shadow box
This used to be a cigar box but for Quoth the Raven I turned it into the the red and black room with the ebony clock. Inside the box there is a masked man who takes of his mask and it turn out to be Death himself. There is also a pic of mr. Poe, half human half skull. And then ofcourse all the guests who died in the red/black room they are the dancing skeletons, they dance around the fire. Inside the clock the is a the Plague as Death digi.
For HDH 133: this could be what hell looks like, dancing skeletons around a fire (which is a battery operated candle) in a dark place with scary images all around, and I think it turned out to be a Hot project LOL.
All the digi's are Smeared Ink , the dancing skellies are from Stampinback and the skull border is "Lost Coat Designs". the clock is Tim Holtz Die
I will enter the following challenges:

Confessions bloghop
It's that time again! Time for the Smeared and Smudged member blog hop.
The theme is CONFESSIONS SMEARED IN INK! Use your art to show us something you have never told your Mom about yourself...or about something you have done. Step outside your comfort zones - the smudgier the better!!!
I have been thingking about this a lot, and the truth is, apart from the normal candy/cookie eating without permission there is not a lot to confess (I know boring.....),so if you are looking for some juicy details you're not at the right blog, but I did make something for the hop.
For this card I used one of the new Milagros Smeared Ink digi's the Cross, coloured it up with pencils and added some bling and lace.
Please cheack out the awesome art of the other Confessions Hoppers and leave them some nice comments, see blogroll below

Behind the mask
The new Tag challenge on Dragons Dream TIO is Elizabeths receipe:"Behind the Mask"; use Stencils, paint and script!!
Here is what I made:
I cut a tag out of chipboard and gesso-ed it, then covered the gesso with a layer of red acrylic paint and dried using heat tool (be careful not to burn the paint). Then add a layer of turquoise acrylic paint and wait a bit but, do not let completly dry, then wipe off using babywipe till you like the result and let dry completly. Now the tag is ready to be stamped.
I used stamps from the old curiosity shop set from Graphic 45 and the light bulp is a KICOSTAMPS stamp, the lady body is from Lost coast Designers Doll Set The script stamp is My Paper world Viva Decor clear stamp. I used a stencil to add the red paint dots. As the final touch I aged the tag a bit with walnut stain distress ink.
So get your paints, stamps and stencils and join us in this challenge, can't wait to see what you create
I will enter this tag in the following challenges:
