Laatste project GDT de Stempelwinkel

Dit is alweer het laatste project voor de Stempelwinkel, het is een shadowbox geworden, welkom op de thee bij de heksen.

This is my final project for de Stempelwinkel, I made a shadowbox, welcome to the witches teaparty.

De stempels die ik heb gebruikt zijn:   Stamps I used:

op de theezakjes in de vakjes:

de kleine heks op bezemsteel van  (Little witch) plate 47 gothic halloween
1 van de 2 schedels  (Skull) SW M11053

In he kastje voor het lichtje en in het fotolijstje:
Crones teaparty CP R523

Boven op het kastje staat een fotolijsje met een heks van de stempel Crones teaparty erin. Verder staat er een klok een paar toverboeken(kerstornamenten Xenos) een kristallenbol(knikker op een knoop) een een theekopje met een pentagram erop (was een Disney theeserviesje uit speelgoedwinkel) een stapeltje Tarot kaarten.

On top of the box is a little photoframe, inside is a witch picture. There are some magic books a Crystal ball (made of a marble and a button) a clock , little Tarot cards and a teacup.

In vier van de vakjes (de onderste en bovenste 2) zitten theezakjes die ik met halloween stempels bestempeld heb en daar bij staan dan weer wat spulletjes.

In 4 of the compartments are teabags, the teabag have stamped images on them. There are also some other witchie thingies.

De Crones teaparty stempel heb ik op een transparant gestempeld met Stazon en daarna met bruine inkt verouderd zodat het een oude foto lijkt, dit geklemd in het vakje met een waxinelampje op batterij erachter zodat het licht door het transparant kan schijnen)

The Crones teaparty image was stamped on a sheet (used Stazon ink) and then aged with brown ink so it would look like an old photograph. I put in inside one of the compartments and place a battery operated candle behind it.

Verder staan er nog de overige kopjes, de theepot, het suikerpotje en het melkkannetje in de vakjes, met letterdobbelstenen heb ik het woord TEA gemaakt, er liggen kleine pompoenen kleine flesjes met kraaltjes , roosjes , spinnetjes, botten , schedel een pentagram gemaakt van ijzerdraad en in de deur staan wat kleine flesjes met daarin een hagedis, thee, en slangen. Kijk maar goed en je ontdekt nog meer dingen :-)

In the compartments are teacups, a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug (drew pentacles on all of them), I made the word TEA from dice and there are little pumpkins, bottles , roses, spiders, bone , skulls just look for yourself and discover...;-)

Nog een kaartje voor de Stempelwinkel.

This is another card for the Stempelwinkel, the stamps I used:

Stamps/ Stempels: R12981 George & Mildred, P12025 Maan/ Moon, q5414 Ns Stone floor, de grafzerken/ tombstones , en de boom en de tak/ trees zijn van Plate52 Dark Boundaries.

Gestempeld met Stazon Jet black, ingekleurd met kleurpotlood, vloer,gras en lucht ingekleurd met distress ink:Tumbled glass, Dried marigold, dusty concord, Peeled paint en Walnut stain.

Now where is George taking Mildred?  This is a very spooky place to go for a walk, could it be they are invited to the witches tea party, I will let you know July 31 rst when I show you my last GDT project for de Stempelwinkel....

George en Mildred hebbeb wel een griezelige plek uitgezocht voor een wandelingetje, zouden ze zijn uitgenodigd om op de thee te komen bij de heksen. Ik laat het zien in de laatste post als GDT voor de Stempelwinkel op 31 Juli....

Dragons Dream TIO # 121 "Following Alice"

This fortnight it's May's turn to dream up a recipe for Dragons Dream TIO, she chose " following Alice" the ingredients are:
Alice, the rabbit and a situation the only other rules are: it has to be a tag and there has to be at least 1 real stamp on it. .
 I loved  making this recipe because I'm a big Alice fan and it gave me a chance to use this stamp I bought a while ago, it's Alice but a bit  different.......
Then I had to use a rabbit and create a situation............................................That's where my dark side took over. I think Alice wouldn't have gone into the rabbit hole if she knew wonderland was this scary.
I gave Alice a nice background and gave the tag a bit of a dark look using distress ink. The mean looking shrooms are Smeared Inks. And  look what they did to the poor rabbit...... only his watch and  skull (also Smeared Ink) are what's left of him................Wonder what the shrooms will do to poor little Alice.

Gorgeous mail art gift

Look what I received in the mail last week

 

Caroline made this  beautiful envelope and she showed it on her blog "Craft Mix" . I left her a comment that I loved her mail art very much and then she was so sweet to send it to me.

When I opened it there were all kinds of cat goodies in it and also the stamp you can see on the envelope. I was so happy to get such an awesome  gift from her.

Smudgy Antics challenge Pop art

This weeks challenge at Smudgy Antigcs is Pop art, check out the rules here.

I used a bat from Smeared Ink's a little bit batty digi set and printed it 6 times coloured it and fuzzy cut to make a 3d bat.

My project was inspired by a figure that is found outside old Dutch Pharmacies, it's called Gaper which means "Yawner" if you translate this to English. I searched the web but I think it's typical Dutch so I check this link and this link for more info. Anyways I made an old Pharmacy and changed "de Gaper" for a Bat.

Tim's tag July

My version of the 12 tags of 2012 july.  We will be going to New York in October (first time and the first time we will travel by plane, and yes that is a bit scary to me LOL). I plan on making a travel journal for this trip and this tag will be in it.
