Tomb Tag

I made a tag in the shape of a tomb, it has some "secret doors"in it, it's my entry for the Tag challenge at the Rick St. dennis FB group here

To make this tag I used the Tim Holz headstone die and carboard. All rubber stamps used are designed by Rick and now available as digi in the Zibbet shop. The Haunted house is still available in rubber at I Brake for Stamps

Deco Art products used: Metallic Lustre in Silver Spark, Traditions acrylic in Carbon Black, Glamour dust in neon orange, Americana neons in orange. Media Crackle paste.

The front closes with a ribbon, when you untie it it opens to this:

stamps are autumn window skulls and common grave skulls, both from the morte rubber set.

The skulls are stamped using white Stazon and the window is coloured using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The window can be opened to this:
The skull is I've got an eye on you and the haunted house (rubberstamp) is for sale at I Brake for Stamps

The spiderweb is a die and in the back of the tomb the skulls are stamped inJet Black Archival over the neon orange and glitter orange paint.

the front and the back of the  headstone are covered in a layer of crackle paste to make the cardboard look like stone. The crackle is ages a bit using distress ink.

Here you can see the side of the headstone, it is made out of cardboard and I just layered the die custs and cut out the middle part.

A finnabair inspired canvas for the RSD progressive challenge

Time for a new challenge at the Rick St.dennis Sparkle and Glitter blog, it's anything goes as long as you use a Rick St.dennis image

I made a Finnabair inspired canvas using Alice with Teacup, a rubber stamp from I Brake for Stamps, designed by Rick.

Deco Art products used:
Acrylic Gesso, Modeling Paste.
Stencils: Flower Market and  Distressed Harlequin
Media Misters, Orange, Primary Yellow, and Shimmer misters in Yellow, turquoise and Violet.
Metallic Lustres in Orange Flicker, Cosmic Blue, Elegant Emerald, Majestic Purple, Radiant Red,Brilliant Turquoise.

This was eal fun to mae and much easie than you should think, it is just collecting all kinds of fowers and other things you want to use. I wanted an Alice in Wonderland theme so I went for a toy porcelein tea pot and cups, an old necklace, small playing cards, a bottle, a key and some Tim Holz dies and a wooden frame.

Glue everything on the canvas and use gesso to paint it all white and give it a base to use the misters on. I used stencils and modeling paste to add some texture and when all was dry I started misting.
Added a bit metallic Lustre and voila, a Finnabair inspired canvas.

The Alice stamp inside the frame is coloured using Derwent Inktense pencils, the back ground is distress ink.
