Creepmas day 11

Welcome to day 11 of Creepmas, organized by Smeared Ink, you can find the blogroll in the sidebar

Today a page in my leatherbound journal :-), love to work in it but hard to take a good picture

I used Witch Tree digi stamp by Rick St. dennis coloured using Prismacolor pencils and cut out.

Deco Art products used for the background: Americana Acrylic Gesso, Modeling paste, Americana Pearlizing medium. Glamour Dust Glitter paint in Turquoise Sparkle and Purple Passion. Americana Mixed media stencil Aztec pattern. Deco Art Tradtions in Naphthol red light, Carbon black, Ultramarine Blue, red Violet,

I bought this journal at Barnes and Noble in Santa Monica, and althoug the paper is thin it works great with paint.  I did bacecous this page with gesso and then mixed ultramarine traditons paint with pearlizing medium to get some shimmer in the paint, I painted the page blue and added the patterns in Naphthol red light and red violet. I used stencils for that.  Then I mixed modeling paste wiht the glamour dust in purple and used the bubble stencil. Let the modeling paste dry and added the turquise sparkle. I used some carbon black mixed with water to wash over the page to make it less bright.
You can still see the shimmer through the black wash.

Glued the digi on and wrote the senti, it is by Jack Skelington :-) (Nightmare before Christmas)

here a pic to show you the texture by the modeling paste
