31 days of Halloween day 4

Yay made it so far, although it is getting tougher. Visit 37 blogs is a great inspiration but takes a lot of time, precious crafting time LOL.  Well  I  made it so far, been real busy though. Wake up in the morning, have breakfast go to work, go home after work, get in to craft room, put thinking cap on and create, eat, get at computer and visit blogs, comment them all and make a new blog post for next day. That is what the past 3 days looked like for me. But I guess you all have the same problem. Can anybody tell me why we are doing this???

Duh !!!!  .....because it is sooo much fun! So a big welcome again to day 4, the rules and the prize info is here and the blog roll in the side bar, but you knew that didn't ya.

I do have some exciting news for you, tomorrow the first challenge will start at the brand new Rick St. Dennis "Sparkle and Glitter" challenge blog so hope you will visit the blog and come and play with us. You will find all info about the rules and prizes here.

Today's piece for 31 days is a bloody vampire, this is one of the new Rick St. Dennis Halloween images , in his etsy you will find a lot more. There are also cool new images for Creepmas and a lot of cuties too.

For this card I coloured the image using pencils and then cut it out, created the background using rubber stamps from the Stempelwinkel. Used distress ink to colour background and then glued the image on. And then disaster ..... a glue blob on the card next to the head on the ground..... I tried to remove it but didn't work..........panic!!!

I breathed in and out for a couple of times and then thought to add blood over the glue smudge..... I know I'm brilliant  (sometimes). Now I had a vampire with blood on the ground and then I added a little next to her mouth and  a little bit on here dress near to the head to make it look like it was all according to plan. I took a pic and send it to the boss but was a  bit worried what he might say about ruining his digi image with all the red paint.  And he was not happy at all about the red paint.........in fact he told me.........

TO ADD MUCH MORE BLOOD!!!!  ......LOL    and I think he was right, looks so much better now, here she is Salome the Vampyr

I had so much fun playing that I made another card, probably should have saved it to post it another day but what the heck ....here is a bonus for you
now you go and see all the awesomeness on the other bloggies (you know the ones on the side bar) and be nice to them because they do a hell of a spooky job getting 31 projects done this month.

and don't forget to visit the Sparkle and Glitter blog tomorrow, see ya for day 5

I will enter the vampire card in the following challenge

I got a couple of the images and am hoping to join in the challenge with so many of you talented people it should be fun to visit. Your bonus card is brilliant so atmospheric. Vee xx

  10. Your projects are both amazing- LOVE the fix! I had a similar problem yesterday and had the nerve to try GooGone and it actually worked. I am loving Rick's stamps this year - he is so creative and productive. I hate that the project I'm using a lot of them for is a huge one I am saving for later. Also, I'm flabbergasted that you are doing all this and going to a job too! My garden is totally going to seed this month ;} as I sit here and play!
